Send the Print, Get a Cost
Quotes go out by email and expedites get answered by text.
If you would rather talk it through than type it, call the shop. Matt answers rather than a phone tree, and he can tell you on the spot whether your date is possible.

What a Good Request for Quote Includes
The first three get you a cost the same working day. Leaving one out usually means an email back and forth first, which is fine, but it costs a day you may not have. The fourth is genuinely optional, and it is the one worth adding anyway.
If you are not sure which process your part needs, send the print anyway and say so. Reading a callout with a customer is a normal part of the day here, and it is a better use of ten minutes than either of us guessing. If you would rather narrow it down first, the Type II Anodizing and Hard Coat Anodizing pages cover the most common decision, and the Alodine Chem Film page covers the case where the part has to stay conductive.
Two things speed up a quote more than anything else. The first is telling us the alloy if you know it, because it affects both the finish and what we can promise on color. The second is saying out loud whether the job repeats, since a one-off and the first of a standing order get quoted differently and we would rather know now than find out on the reorder.
Expedites are worth a separate note. If a machine build or a customer delivery is waiting on the part, say so in the first line of the request, not the last. Expedite requests get answered by text, usually within the working day, and the answer is a straight yes or no on your date, never a maybe that costs you an afternoon.
