What Is Anodizing?
The process of anodizing aluminum is an electrochemical treatment that converts the aluminum surface to aluminum oxide.
Anodizing provides a protective and abrasion resistant film, or porous oxide layer, which may be left clear with a silvery matte finish or dyed for decorative effects.
